The One Ripper is a program for ripping and encoding mp3 files from cds. It has many advanced features including:

Background Encoding, and queuing of files to be encoded
ID3v1, and ID3v2 tagging
CDDB for track naming
Easy renaming of tracks from CDDB to make dealing with multi-artist CDs easier
Flexible file naming
Choice of multiple encoders (LAME, Oggenc, BladeEnc, Gogo)
Choice of multiple rippers (cdparanoia, cdda2wav, dagrab)

Role Playing Apps

Initiative

Initiative is a program for tracking the initiatives of players in a D&D 3rd edition game.

It has many features including:

Tracking of initiative for players and NPCs
Refocusing, changing initiatives
Importing characters from PCGen
A summary of combats screen for easy experience point totals, as well as tracking importan combat events
Tracking of spells, including duration.
Hit Point tracking, including bleeding, stabilization, death and raising
Pre-generate encounters, and save them for future use. Support for tokens, Intented to tie Miniatures to particular combatants in large combats.

RPGeneration

Perl Modules

LCD / LCD::MatrixOrbital

LCD is a library (and a wrapper) for accessing, and printing to Serial LCD displays. You can print, create Graphs, Large digits, create new characters and more.

LCD::MatrixOrbital is a driver library module for LCD. It allows accessing, and printing to a MatrixOrbital display from perl. All functions that are accessable on a MatrixOrbital have been provided for in this program.

LCD::CrystalFontz is a forthcoming driver library module for LCD that will allow access to CrystalFontz LCDs.

LCD::Generic is another forthcoming driver library module for LCD that will allow perl to write to most LCDs using the standard LCD command set
